San Francisquito Creek is the border. Think you're right that kayaking would be the way to go. Seen folks do that around Bair Island. Although, it might not be as easy to do when the tide is low and the mudflat birds are at their best.randomtruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01941027847362672057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7172285466289881050.post-74554279285245479692018-09-14T21:23:49.284-07:002018-09-14T21:23:49.284-07:00I need to go check out the Ravenswood Preserve and...I need to go check out the Ravenswood Preserve and Cooley Landing at some point, that looks like good access as well. Unfortunately most of the shorebirds at Palo Alto Baylands are usually too far out to see well - I bet you could see a lot from a kayak though.

I'll send an email your way at some point RT.Seagull Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01851438505719552645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7172285466289881050.post-26160603793841062232018-09-10T07:50:47.549-07:002018-09-10T07:50:47.549-07:00Damn you're good. The Palo Alto Baylands down to Shoreline Park is all part of Santa Clara County, and probably the easiest places to access mudflats in the county. That said, if you see areas you'd like to bird that are public lands, but currently closed, drop me an email and I'll see if I can connect you up with the local biologists / resource managers. Most of the land managers in the area are open to giving permits to folks that can help them document and better understand the parks/preserves.randomtruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01941027847362672057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7172285466289881050.post-75087905963294365592018-09-07T19:39:10.391-07:002018-09-07T19:39:10.391-07:00I last owned a bike about 12 years ago. But when I was on Midway, I won the annual bike race out of everyone there, just so everyone knows I am extremely fit and an expert cyclist.

About the rail, no, but I think you captured exactly how I feel about it.Seagull Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01851438505719552645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7172285466289881050.post-20498542865179625382018-09-07T15:24:07.509-07:002018-09-07T15:24:07.509-07:00Anything is possible™
