As I contemplate what the hell I should do for work in 2012, various bird memories of past projects often come wafting to the forefront of my thoughts. In its own right, my summer on Buldir Island, AK, in 2010 was one of the most bizarre experiences of my life. Least Auklets were one of the main characters of the summer that moved the plot along.
